Nosebloodelectro.com

Dear dedicated crack hoes and pimps,

We've moved our blog to Nosebloodelectro.com. So please update your bookmarks, Google Reader, Delicious and tattoos... So from now on, if you're looking after our notoriously shitty humour, deranging grammar and a vast array of great songs, you know where to go.

Enjoy,
NBE.

Beware, Its Lethal Techno!

To put it shortly, the following is ridiculously superior it hurts so bad, I'd call it fucking lethal! Anywhooo, there you go... its nosebloodelectro, so yes, it should be physically lethal!

Say One:
A fairly new Croatian talent found while surfing on Beatport & respectable sites. Finally someone's actually innovating! This might be what it's all heading towards and we like very much, it's absolutely fabulous!

Davor O - Chiq Perls.mp3

Say Two:
The original 8bit track is bound to be a classic one by now, but this version goes far beyond anything. I dare you mfckr with any other opinion, Iesse Ai Daire Iou! Erol est un roi impossible a détrôner!

LA Priest - Engine - Erol Alkan Re-Edit.mp3

Say Three:
Sent by a friend of ours, this should please LCD-fans & many others. This is what I call a remix, and a proper one!

LCD Soundsysten - Get Innocuous! - Soulwax Remix

Cheers.

PS: Thank you all Ladies&Gents for sending us killer tunes, can't post everything yet but u know, On vous aiment!

Some wise ass once told me...

... good things come to those who wait. Well, thanks but its been far too long.
Here's some top-of-the line stuff to make up for the summer delay(s). If not, we'll try again, and a bit sooner hopefully.

Now, two very different tracks, one goal: Legendary tunes people!

Adam Craft - Catch Me.mp3

(See the Swede's website)

Estivalism

-Ok, so now we’ve gone nuts, you say. This is Brazilian nonsense with a caned guitar!
-We say, it’s probably too much sun, caipiroscas and bikini catwalks. Call it estivalism or madness, that’s what laid back beachlife is about.

For some people, sunny days and time off is meant to get back on track, reflecting over loads of issues, straightening out a mediocre daily life.

Ironically it might just be right the opposite. Getting away, first physically then mentally, allows a certain distance to narrow thinking and ultimately that thinking ought to be replaced by a room for authentic pleasures. Repression is easier, everything tastes better and that includes music.

Well for us technofanatics, almost any track is a killer one in that state of mind. Provided that a proper summer-setting is in place, underestimated or forgotten tracks as well as new tunes, can all fuse into a very pleasant symbiosis.

For the personal favourites and classics we’ll leave it up to you to dig out suitable nostalgia.
But we'll still lay out an excerpt of our current likes, and there are loads of that... Thumbs up y’all!

Patrick L – op58. The Rocket.mp3

Jeff is releasing a couple of EP:s ,I Thought It Was, Gamma Rays and a track on The Force Volume 1, and we can't post them all. So here's the one from The Force Volume 1 and please, support the artist, buy!
Jeff Bennett - Desire 2007.mp3

His DJMix for august, find the tacklist in the comment box.
Jeff Bennett - DJ Mix 08/2007.mp3 (right-click, save as)

Hugg & Pepp:s new EP, Mamma, just perfect.
Hugg & Pepp - Livmoder.mp3

An old song of Alex Metric which is a lot better than his last EP.
Alex Metric - Holding.mp3

Play Paul has left the Electroclash scene and gone minimal, sounds promising.
Play Paul & Nicos Marcos - Breathe.mp3 (Removed)

Now two old songs that just came back to life in our playlists.
Phonique - John.mp3

Joakim - Dumtraxx.mp3

And just to finish with a non-minimal song:
Boys Noize - & Down - Teenage Bad Girl Remix.mp3

That's more like it, no?
Later.

Back to civilization

We've also taken a vacation from the blogosphere. With no internet connection, we've been shaking like crack-hoes in rehab. But the future looks brighter for those who actually give a shit about NBE. The Nosebloodelectro.com is under construction, but with our mediocre Photoshop/illustrator skills we can't promise a mind-blowing design. If your knowledgeable in graphic design you can email us ideas, logos, backgrounds and so on, would be appreciated.

For the moment, here's a potpourri of tunes to keep you amused during your 12 to 4 perfect tan-sessions.

The last album of Adam Kesher, that includes a couple remixes.
Adam Kesher - P-Kathering - Snack & C'mish Remix.mp3

Great Stuff Recordings last release, the Quarter EP.
Mason - Quarter - The Subs Remix.mp3

The "And Down" and "Winsconsin 95" tunes from Boys Noize creating interest before releasing the OiOiOi album.
Boys Noize - And Down.mp3

If you remember Trashtalk with their hardcore tune Tank Girl, released at Craft Recordings, you know what to expect from this one.
Trashtalk - Walk Through.mp3

And just to finish with a little more musical song, a tune from 25 Hours A Day (25 HAD) that you should recognize from their great remix of Alex Gopher that we posted June 6th.
25 Hours A Day - Mother Afrika.mp3

Enjoy,
NBE.

Musical Fascionista

Fashion and music aren't that different. Yeah this sounds really gay...
But all things apart, it's ultimately about sophistication and detail. A song or a shoe can only be great when design, quality and details are played with using a lot of feeling and creativity.

So here are some shoes with their respective soundtrack:

Chrisitan Louboutins & Nikes Socks

(This is a short version, you can buy it here)
Signal Drivers - Sticky Date Re-Rub (Philipe de Boyar Remix).mp3

Dior Homme
Umek - Ricochet Effect.mp3

Bally ~ Cineas

Gregor Tresher - A Thousand Nights.mp3

Crockett & Jones ~ Oxfords Connaught Suede

It's a bit older but needs to be posted anyways:
Gui Boratto - Mr. Decay (Robert Babicz Universum Disco Mix).mp3

Church's
Jeff Bennett - Multipass - Minimix.mp3

Finally, the Eyerer & Namito EP, Quipa due to be out July 2nd, and includes a remix from Etienne de Crecy and Anthony Collins. Can't post the whole album but here's the original mix.

Berlutti ~ Loga III Maestro (1090€)
Eyerer & Namito - Quipa.mp3 (Removed)

Cheers,

Back From Delirium

We’re back from the most epic, decadent and wonderful days at Sonar in Barcelona. The 24/7 musical paradise was just too good to be true. Too mention a few, personal highlights were B-Pitch Ctrl's beach party, Kompakt's Night at Nitsa and numerous afters featuring great DJ's, out-of-bounce crowds and dodgy settings. Could go on for ages describing it all, but if anything, this must be the big daddy to all nightlife in the genre.

Unfortunately we managed to loose our camera including all footage on the way back, so “the Sonar Aftermath” could've been more documented if a pissed-off Spanish airport women would be honest for once and return it...

Being back to business as usual zombie-style,
here are some remixes from the Alex Gopher CD, named after himself (creative ey...).

- A Lacquer version, we haven’t heard from him for quite some time, but this is worth it all:

Alex Gopher – Carmilla – Schizodisko Funkytronic Lacquer Version.mp3

- A Bloody Beetroots remix, needless to say what those banged up Italians can come up with:

Alex Gopher – The Game – The Bloody Beetroots Remix.mp3

Having all these impressions messing with our heads after this outstanding Spanish round, we'll try to digest it all and do some more techno posting in sunglasses and flower shorts.

Prepping

So by now you should have everything ready and figured out for this week-end's trip to Barcelona. We know we do, with a lot of last-minute luck. If you are going and don't know what artists to expect and party to attend you can check it out on Sonars homepage or Clubbin Spain. Preparations are crucial cause the 14th is gonna be a rough start with artists like Tiefschwarz, M.A.N.D.Y, Elektrochemie, Tiga, Proxy & DIM...

While we're at it, this is what it could sound like...

A slightly older track that stands for nothing but great afters and threatening letters from the landlord:

Tiefschwarz - Warning Siren - Buick Project Remix.mp3

Tanz Der Molekule is released on the "10 of Tiefschwarz Blackmusik" CD.

Mia - Tanz Der Molekule - My My Remix.mp3

We'll be back with more Sonar attending artists plus respective tune.

Vamos

So finally, Barcelona's long awaited Sonar Festival is next week and we can't hold ourselves. Starting the 14th it's three days & nigths in a row with the most exclusive line-up plus loads of events to attend everywhere. No matter what, no excuse is valid when it comes to going to this madhouse.
Since you're probably broke, go to the bank and take an urgent loan because the worst thing would be regretting this.
Who knows, maybe next year a forgotten the rubber glove got some church girl pregnant and you end up changing diapers all summer. So there's no thinking over this, book a flight and cue it up!

Acid Kids just released their EP, Vamp. Available on Beatport.
Acid Kids - Twisterkitchen.mp3

The Rogue Element also has a new release on Beatport, Rogue Rock: Special Delivery. Parental advisory, heavy bass,
brakes and noizes...
Culprit 1 - Tricks - The Rogue Element Remix.mp3

Here's a calm but really great song.

TV or Music, it's All Good Entertainment

TV:

There's nothing worse than watching TV and the only choices you have are shitty b-series from the 80-90's, like Dallas or Beverley Hills 90210 to mention a couple. But the absolute lowpoint of it all must be the "new" shows on MTV like The Barbershop and Your Mama. They urge you to get an AK47 and a Crocodile Dundy machete and finish them up. Just jump into the screen and make Hannibal Lecter look like a teenage girl having her first period.

Luckily there are some clear improvements with MTV:s really fucked-up Wonder Showzen that I've been able to understand thanks to special products. After that, they aired Stankervision that could be quite entertaining once in a while but got cancelled to make place for a much better show, Strutter. The main goal is to offend most of the world using drugs, fucking, beating and simply politically incorrect jokes.

"At the tail end of last year Mike was awarded the Guinness World Record for 'Most Swearing in a Television Programme' for episode 1 of 'Strutter'; which contains 201 confirmed profanities. This equates to almost ten swearwords per minute and beats (on a minute for minute basis)."..."Not bad going we think. Take a gander at the picture below... this was taken at the official presentation ceremony in London. Mike is cheerfully accepting the award from the head of Guinness World Records."

So check out som Strutter clips on Struttergear.com, I recommend the Mikroslave scetch that you can find under Strutter Informercials.

Music:

The new artist from Boys Noize Records, Shadow Dancer, is releasing his first EP that's quite promising. Other Boys Noize news, is new "Oi Oi Oi" Ep that's coming out in September, we have'nt been able to get our hands on any of them but if you have one, just mail to us (not for posting, only for pleasure).

Shadow Dancer - Daytime Drinking.mp3

The great Swiss Philipe de Boyar made an unofficial remix of Dj Mehdi.
(Good quality rip.)

Finally, Tepr has been blogged a lot for their collaboration with Yelle, but now it's for one of their remix.

Swedish summer-perks, Primitive Style

Good weather's here and so is the clothing, meaning female clothing goes minimal. Maybe not elsewhere but in Sweden it's a deadserious contest. After a whole year of intense preparation, the fittest physical assets are combined to
appropriately reduced clothes. The only matter is that liberally brought up 13 year olds have also adopted that tradition. So unless you're a Belgian priest with child-corpses in the basement it's recommended to keep that in mind.

Adding great weather and beautiful girls to great bloodpumping tunes is our current duty, so here it is:

Comanechi - Death of You - Passions Splatterhouse Remix.mp3
(We really wanted to put this but Palms Out beat us by one day... tuff break)

Damn Arms - Homewrecker - Passions Remix.mp3

Oh yeah, forgot the cooking, they better not burn the rice, or else...

Shilas Bedroom Fashion - Blue Murder.mp3

Shilas Bedroom Myspace

Now download these songs and go get your share of what splendid pleasures life has to offer.

French Action

The french labels seem to be quite in action. Summer's coming and attendance is rising so there's an immediate need for suitable tracks...

It's been very much talked about but Justice recently had there release party. We envy those who had the chance to be there judging from the music we've heard. Pretty much every song have been leaked but one of them not as much, so there you go:

Justice feat. Uffie - The Party.mp3

Another Justice tune, a remix of Scenario Rock:

Scenario Rock - Skitzo Dancer - Justice Remix.mp3

Now the Institubes protégé, the young Surkin's Remix EP of Fireworks has just been refired:

Surkin - Kiss 'N' Horn - Vengeance Edit.mp3

By the way, watch out for next week's Institubes Label Night at Debaser Medis on on Friday in Sthlm: Featuring Surkin and Para One. Looks very promising.

As a little outro, a Philippe Zdar (Cassius) song to fade out intensity-wise:

Philippe Zdar - Rio.mp3

PS: Zshare seems really slow lately so we're trying out other uploading sites, leave a comment to let us know how it all works out.DS

Weekend at The Frog

Watch out for eventtime at Grodan this weekend! If you're not convinced, not in Stockholm or simply agoraphobic?
Don't cry, tunes are attached...
- Tonight, US-producer John Tejada...

John Tejada - Panorama.mp3

- Tomorrow, Official Bootlegging Contest: VanRivers & TheSubliminalKid VS Karin Ström

Van Rivers - Kill The Disco - Meaty Minimal Dub.mp3
So Go Support our boys!!

- And Saturday is followed by Jesper Dahlbäck and a Pickpocket-rerun ft 5 Guys and a dog at Riche...

Fox N Wolf - In Yr Underwear - Jesper Dahlbäck Remix.mp3

If there's any leg or head still functioning, there's much much more to come very soon so we better have loads of lion-steaks or something.

Time Is Music

It’s getting real confusing. There’s far too much good music to listen to, releases and events to be updated on and ultimately attend, less known creations waiting to be discovered, plus a shitload of non-musically related activities to fit in. It seems catching up is impossible but somehow there must be a way of not going totally bananas.

Being heavily dependent of loads of music ranging from completely different genres, I’d make the rather safe assumption that it’s all about listening or else it would be pretty useless. Well either you’re organized Ikea-style or only listen to a couple of Neil Young albums but something very drastic needs to happen to be on top of it all, or even halfway there.

With that in mind, we thought a grand melting pot of what has been sent to us, tracks we’ve been listening to lately and releases we urge you to get hold of, should do part of the trick. Some of the following attachments must have come across your little mouse, if so blame the Internet’s overabundance and we’ll keep publishing whatever we feel like and try to keep track of what’s from this decade at least.

To start off real heavy:
The utterly favoured French touch, the “extravaganza” of distortions, DatA and his upcoming release Aerius Light due to be out the 28th of May. Nothing else to say but Freaking awesome!

DatA – Aerius Light.mp3

In a far less mediated and heavy sphere than Klaxons, Switch or datA, Minitel Rose a new fluoloving electroteam caught our French ears. It’s very kitch and fun, maybe a feeling that its already been heard before but it’s all in a colourful way:

Minitel Rose – When I was punk.mp3 -
(Removed by artist, Check their Myspace)

I’ve given up trying to describe the following track. There must be something too hard to pinpoint... The beat is so addictive it would make me quit smoking but on second thought make me light one too. Yeah, too weird to describe…

Spektrum – Kinda New – Dirty South ´07 Remix.mp3

Now take some time to listen...

Update

We are truly sorry for not updating NBE for about a week, can't promise anything but external distractions can take over from time to time.

So let's get right to it:

The upcoming release of Etienne De Crecy, Commercial EP2, is on it's way and we're anxious to see what he has prepared being a something of a true veteran. Here's a little foretaste:

Etienne De Crecy - Rck.mp3

Grodan resident, Ida Engberg releasing her EP, Disco Volante on Pickadoll includes probably one of the best songs this year. Remixed by
Sébastien Léger and Hugg & Pepp. Thanks to RiskyB.

Ida Engberg - Disco Volante - Sébastien Léger Remix.mp3

Btw: Great line-up at Grodan this month, John Tejada the 15th and John & Jesper Dahlbäck the 17th.

Finally, a track from last year but we figured it never goes out of taste.

Mark & John - Rince #1.mp3

Corporate Syndrome

“If you have to work in a whorehouse, what do you do? You be the best whore…”
Tom Wolfe

Stuck at a desk-job flipping burgers? The ripping pain of being exploited as a gearwheel is a fact for many people trying to make a living. Sunny terraces and partying bohemians aren’t probably helping. As an apprentice, or “junior-whore-to-be” it seems the principal qualities actually needed to survive is a hell lot of hypocrisy, reduced-self-esteem and an inhuman ability to repress the impossible. Let’s hope it’s all wrong but given that you’re already on a soup&water-diet at the office daydreaming through the week, the following tunes might help taking the edge off until better things come along. The syndrome might not be cured but it sure helps to have some appropriate music. Yeah we’re so caring over here…

Frenchystylepumpin Philipe de Boyar right up from Switzerland:

Super Commodore – Coline - Philipe De Boyar Remix.mp3

And a kicking remix of PdB by Boy-8Bit:

Philipe De Boyar - Formerly Unknown -Boy 8Bit Remix.mp3
(Removed by request, you can buy it @ djdowload.com, trackitdown.com, junodownloads.com)

Minimal Attempt

The electronic-house scene is clearly popular within the blogging one. It takes a whole day to go through every post on the google-reader but lots of the music is recurrent. At least one remix of Justice Dance or Beat is put up on a daily basis along with rock remixes with an 8-bit touch and heavy beats. Since that's not all, attempts of putting stuff that's not necessarily in the spotlight are more than justified. So we picked a few recent songs that are absolutely worth it, a minimal revival attempt.

A little more frenchness on Boxer Recordings:

Delon & Dalcan - Freak - Original Mix.mp3

A track from the Wavescraper EP of John Tejada released on Palette Recordings:

John Tejada - Model 12.mp3

And finally two remixes of Patrik Björkman:

Jacob Todd & Kelly Noland - Promises - Patrik Bjrökman Dub Mix.mp3

Zinfadel - Galivan - Patrik Björman Mix.mp3

Hope you'll enjoy!
